"The Visual Art and Design Showcase is a venue for [university] undergraduate students to display and discuss their scholarly work in an exhibition setting," as stated on the website. Students submit works across multiple scholarly and artistic disciplines, and selected works are displayed to the public. It is a major honor for the students.

Selecting excellent work, I invite students to participate. If they are interested, I serve as their official mentor (the showcase requires a faculty mentor) and help them prepare their display for acceptance into the showcase and if selected, mounting their display for adjudication by professional artists.
